My camera was not on zoom.

He knew I was right there, sitting next to him and watching him,

but yet he laid down and went to sleep. Because his mother was standing close to him, protecting him, as evidenced by her shadow.

He knew he was perfectly safe. He rested in complete trust, despite the confusing things going on around him.

I want to be more like that gosling.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

  1. I loved this! It is a very comforting reminder that we dwell in the shadow of the Almighty. What could be safer!!!

  2. W.O.W. That gave me goose bumps, Rach! This is a verse I kept hearing over and over at the prayer summit this past weekend, and God has proven that verse true time and time again in my life.

    Powerful!

  3. Oh my gosh! That is just about the cutest little thing. Great shots by the way. I grew up with geese and chickens and their little ones and this just brought back some wonderful memories for me. Thanks!

    Happy WW!

  4. How sweet! My office is right off Grandview and the geese come by my office all the time. I love seeing the babies strut by! It’s amazing.

PS. Where was this taken? I saw two Canadian Geese flying over our house the other day!
