First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, sweet cousin Eli!! I can’t believe it’s been a year since you were born – weighing 2 lbs, 3 oz!! It was an amazing, miraculous, scary time, and we love you and are so happy that you are so healthy and smart and adorable!!!

This is what she WANTS to look like when she is with me.
She insists on bows, frills, jewelry, and if I would let her, would carry around a wet wipe all day to be at the ready just in case a speck of dirt fell her way.

  1. It might just be the lure of the mud puddle. Who can resist? I still have a hard time not wanting to jump in them and I will always try to hit them with my car. If it’s safe of course. I’m not THAT crazy driver aiming for all the pot holes and puddles all the way up the road I live on. Really I’m not….promise. :-)

    Happy early WW!

  2. Very funny! My little girl wants those Hello Kitty rain boots, they were out of stock in her size.

  3. My daughter is the same way!! At home, she hates getting anything on her, especially food on her face. At Baba’s (aka Grandma’s), she’s happy to finger paint with whatever you put in front of her, play in the mud, etc.
So funny! She is so cute!

  4. There’s nothing wrong with being a little bit of both. She is so darn cute!

Check out my blog from yesterday. I mentioned you in it. :-)

Your Alabama blog looks great. You know if I was from there, I’d be all over it!

  5. I think she does have a split personality. :) She gets dirty at grandma’s and she’s clean and girly with you. :) :) hahaha. :)

  6. What a beautiful daughter. She is the perfect combination of a princess and the beast. That is going to make a fun adult!!

  7. Too cute!! My little girl has the same problem. One child with me, a TOTALLY different one with well….EVERYONE else!!!

  8. Super cute!! (okay I’m such a nerd Ni Hao, Kai-Lan is playing in the background haha) anyway my daughter has that coat!
